The Timberwolf is BIG! I’m looking forward to painting mine when I get the chance.
January 15, 2025 at 7:44 am #1911787CGL KS update repeats itself first by tragedy second by farce.
No AUS update as one member of staff is on holiday (after previously claiming the shipping company was on an extended christmas holiday despite that same company shipping other orders).
And EU is caught in a paperwork snafu, no doubt caused by CGL incompetence.
January 15, 2025 at 8:40 am #1911788This is getting sillier than any Monty Python sketch ever.
“Fetch the update that goes DING”
January 15, 2025 at 3:01 pm #1911886I feel it should either be…
The knights who say “Ni!” (as in… ‘Ni chance you getting this project delivered soon’)
Or
“This kickstarter is a ex-parrot! “
January 15, 2025 at 3:30 pm #1911895The kickstarter isn’t dead – it’s just pining, for the fjords!
January 15, 2025 at 4:51 pm #1911898oh wait … they collated SKU’s from 8 different companies ?
WTF ?
or Way To Foul Up
Still doesn’t make sense.
Why not send straight from factory to hubs ?
Or is this because said hubs are not ‘owned’ by QML so they refuse to send stuff to hubs they don’t own ?-

January 15, 2025 at 6:50 pm #1911928CGL really needs to keep their lies straight. Previous update said stock for EU had arrived and was being counted.
How long before they just tell EU backers they cannot deliver, cannot give refunds, and advise you all to contact customs yourselves and see if they will release the stuff you paid for?
But the ‘community’ shills keep on giving these companies a pass. I’m done with CGL and Kickstarter. Maybe one day the EU will bring KS in line with consumer laws and it will be safe to back projects.
January 15, 2025 at 6:56 pm #1911929Why not send straight from factory to hubs ?
Because CGL were using the most inefficient shipping method short of sending the stuff to the moon.
This is an ‘america first and sod the rest of you’ company mentality? It looks like it. They only shipped items to the hubs after they fulfilled most of the US orders (other than the 200 backers who they lost off the spreadsheet).
They are now talking about ‘wave 4’. Huh?
And they carry on hiring Rem Alternis Productions to spout a load of hogwash on every ‘tuesday newsday’ to 3 viewers on YT. CGL spends money like a drunk in a pub.
One can only imagine what would have happened if any of the $12m they raised had been spent on a competent project manager (you know, those stupid old white guys that Rem insulted on youtube)?
January 15, 2025 at 7:38 pm #1911930Nah … not gonna post more negativity here.
It’s not what OTT should be about.
I’ll do that on their kickstarter comment section instead.
January 16, 2025 at 6:08 am #1912007This just in:
Hey backers!
One of our contacts helped us with a few phone calls and got the right customs person on the phone and…we’re CLEARED!
The shipment has cleared customs and will be continuing on to the Hub! We don’t have an ETA just yet, but more news should hopefully be available by our next update. But we wanted to pop in and let you know as soon as we found out and confirmed!
Still not getting my hope up. Source: Kickstarter
January 16, 2025 at 6:54 am #1912014Friends make it happen! 🤣
Happy for EU if true. Seems … incredible?
January 16, 2025 at 1:14 pm #1912046Email
Subject: Please confirm your address for your Quartermaster Logistics & Catalyst Games – Battletech fulfilment
Text:
Your parcel from QML & Catalyst is currently being scheduled with our warehouse. You will receive a separate email once the items have been despatched.
We ask that you submit any address changes before end of day, Sunday 19th January.
Does that mean they will ship starting Monday 20th?
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. It’s a trap.
January 16, 2025 at 4:03 pm #1912067yup I got a similar mail from them.
However … as I’ve noticed with other kickstarters this doesn’t mean we will be getting our goodies ‘soon’.
It can still be many days / weeks / months until our packages get shipped.Until it arrives and I can confirm everything to be in there I will have my doubts as to the competence of CGL.
(and that’s putting it mildly).January 16, 2025 at 4:12 pm #1912068My notification email from QML came at the end of November and it was only last week my delivery arrived, so there is a likelihood you have a further wait instore, but fingers crossed it’s not too long…..
January 16, 2025 at 6:27 pm #1912085yup … although now the Christmas panic is over, so technically they could be shipping it really fast.
Then again … this is CGL we’re talking about.
CGL => QML => GameQuest.Co.UK
Why the heck did they not do CGL => GameQuest.Co.UK for starters or an EU-based hub so they could have avoided a ton of issues even before it began ?
Logic isn’t a thing with CGL …
