Well, the air conditioning has died in my house. We live in South Florida. So now I’m in a cheapie hotel with the AC set on “nuclear winter” – trying to put together the last video bits and other materials for the boot camp on a lap top.

Never a dull moment! 😀

Finished up my first actual Bolt Action model.
Thought I would try the new plastic P3 kits and paint it up DAK for the Bootcamp.

Pre-shaded it using mostly Tamiya colors through the airbrush.

Not looking forward to be labelled a soap dodger all weekend. Should have thought out my name, oh well. Cant wait, not many sleeps to go now!

I finished my test paint. and unfortunately seen that I cant take any oil based paints on an aeroplane so I think I will just basecoat over the weekend. Universal carriers are tiny which makes it odd to paint. They are also headless due to having no suitable heads and driverless as apparently you cant paint without the driver being in position (DOH!). I will need a driver to be standing up. looking though binoculars to make this make sense.

Looking great @soapdodger, I think it would look good to have someone standing out trying to find where they are. Loving the weathering.

As for names, you could always use your given name, nick name, or there’s always ‘soapy Mac soap face’??.
