Essen spiel went digital this year : 22rd to 25th ! Anybody watched ?

I did dip into the UK Games Expo over the event and felt it was alive with buzz and a lot going on… As i peeked into the Essen website i did not get the same feeling…  Not a lot on you tube too ?

Was it going to be like Expo or something smaller and different… I mean its gone and anybody talking about it ?

Your thoughts ?

If it hadn’t been for the occasional link to ‘Essen Spiel Digital’ popping up I wouldn’t even have known it existed … or when it was supposed to be.

I think it kind of got lost in the big OTT/Wayland news last week.
And maybe the Essen variant relied on the various vendors doing their own promotion whereas the Expo had the benefit of the OTT themselves also getting involved in promoting the thing.
