Judging by the absolute massive amount of incoming Cathay, it’s been popular for GW’s The Old World. They also get a THIRD book, plus a SECOND boxed set – the most of any army for this setting. I’m genuinely excited, as I have a stack of Cathay already!

I do like the look of Cathay, but I have no opponent and can’t justify buying another army that will just sit there unpainted for months and then sit in a box for ever.

Cathay stuff is epic and I really like what they’ve done with it. If I didn’t already have a Chaos Warrior Army I’d pick some up.

@grantinvanman have you got any pictures of stuff you’ve painted? I haven’t seen many non-studio painted minis.

Nothing painted yet, working through other projects – they’re coming soon, though…

For Old World, I have Chaos, Beastmen, Orcs/Goblins, and Cathay. It’s a stack.

Oh, and I have the Hashut new Chaos Dwarfs, which are going to be based for Old World!

These are very nice models and have to be added to the pile of opportunity.

I went all-in last month, luckily these sets won’t be available until about March so I have a little bit of time to save some funds.

Thanks for that @poentje – it’s been a spending bonanza for me lately, and March will give me some time.

Just tonight I scored two boxes of Black Orcs 5th edition plastics, sealed in the box. And scored the command in metal off eBay for not-stupid prices.
