Been working on my Guild Ball Morticians Guild.

Painting is done for now, but it’s time to decide on the basing. Have a selection of things to use, toy railway ballast in black or brown, slate rocks, slate ballast, many grasses and red flower tufts. The only set thing is the red flower tufts, they’re going on for sure but undecided on the rest.
Oh and there’s Veteran Hemlocke to add in soon, but she only arrived yesterday so is still in priming.

Now, build survivors or greenstuff the base?

July 6, 2018 at 10:06 pm #1226095Ive laid strong plastic bag out on the table and taped it down as thats what the internet said to do… it stops sticking apparently. turns out, they were right! I rolled out the green stuff into a very thin sheet and cut it to a rectangle and made a slit in the middle for the head. (hence my ‘nailed it’ post)
Ive then gone at the green stuff with some super cheap plastic stick shaper thingys that I can’t remember the name of.
here is the initial folding!

Started with the base. Like you never really should…

July 6, 2018 at 10:10 pm #1226101so i got talking to one of my MTG buddies and a hour of talking rules he decided to finally give AOS a try. he then told me not to expect anything to special with the hobby side of his army cause of a lack of interest and talent, I then ask him if he could describe what the army in his head looked like. he looked at me and said “well i play a lot of red deck wins in mtg so something that represents that”. and long story short i decided to help him out and paint his first 1000 points for him and this is the scheme i came up for him. roughly 800 down 200 points more to paint. #HobbyNightLive
