Hobby Weekender 7/09/2018 – A Hobby Weekender is Never Late

I did some hobby… of sorts…. I’ve got myself the X-Wing V2 core set and got the promotional damage deck. Also I got it *yesterday* 😉 Being in good standing with your local dealer really helps.

Todays work.

My friend Adam’s Dungeons and Dragons Character:

I’m not sure if the mini is a ranger or fighter but hes playing a ranged fighter. One is based on a ranger look, the other on a Rohan Warriors.

I assembled some Primaris Marines that came with Conquest. I believe they will be Minotaurs Space Marines:

I was in the mood to build something, and had a Gundam kit (well several) lying around from a few years ago. After watching a bunch of youtube videos with Adam Savage I was enthused to assemble stuff.

I finished him quick, and it was a lot of fun (I glued him btw) and I love the design, but damn is the colour scheme boring.

These GKR models and Albionnicans are next.

@mage I totally wasn’t going to so handy with the solo jokes.

Not much hobby this week, hoping to make up for it at the weekend assembling the Gellerpox.

I also realized that the ‘mat’ you get with conquest issue two would also work well with a hanger/warehouse type scenario for The Walking Dead. It’s a lot better than I thought it would be and I’d have paid £5 just for that.

@biggabum how have you found the BMG to WD:AoW scale? And against infinity?

@elessar2590 yes, I like the sculpts. But on some minis FFG did a not so good paint job in their presentations… especially Han and Leia look weird… at least to me
