I’ve finished the first lot of my Myeri for The Woods by Oakbound Studio and I have enjoyed painting them. They have allowed me to open up and be a lot freer with my choice of colour and I am thankfully for it. Got a few more to paint to complete my warband though. #lockdownleisureleague

Just repaired the goofy looking legs on these Iron Clads from Dark Souls. Didn’t think to take a before picture but they were sticking out the back in a weird running pose that always annoyed me! First time I’ve used green stuff in years.

How do you wargame when separated by 45 miles, a global pandemic, and a national lockdown? – last weekend we played the excellent Poor Bloody Infantry by Peter Pig by setting up two identical tables and playing our game via skype call, which brings to mind games of postal chess or the postal games of Diplomacy popular before the internet.

In an attempt to jumpstart some hobby I’m focused on the half finished pieces haunting my desk for way too long (as well as all the Reaper Bones collecting dust).  This little lady is from Bombshell Babes and looked perfect to join my Kings of War collection as a Stone Priestess (though with that pretty blue talisman, she could do as a standard bearer in a pinch).

My lockdown project is focusing on the mountain of warhammer minis I have collected over the year. First up 500 points of Empire for 6th Ed WHFB.
