For me life hasn’t changed with lockdown 2.0 starting – I’m a teacher so still going to work and then working when I get home.

However, I do put aside some time to put paint on figures and I’ve just started to paint up the miniatures from Monolith’s Batman: Gotham City Chronicles.  I finished this week a Batman (there are several in the set), Red Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl and Batwoman.

First of all, this is the guy I mainly worked on the last week. His carapace is painted with the colorshift paint Psychotic Illusions from Greenstuff World (which I really like the look of). I also tried to paint a lense for the first time and I like the look of it for a first try. I still have to do his base and also paint his brother who has only his carapace painted by now. So I still have enough to do to pass the time. Me posting this will hopfully keep my motivation high so I can finally start on my big boy Castellan knight.

And this is my pile of unpainted shame. And yes there is a complete Castellan in there which I am a bit intimidated by. But I will start him soon, he was laying there for way too long, espacially becahuse I love this kit so much.

PS: I just noticed that I didnt even put the shoulder pads on the Armiger but I quiet like the look of it without them. What is your opinion on that, please let me know 🙂
