Update to my Deathwatch project. This time with episode 1 of a tutorial on my basing method.
Ok, so this is my third attempt at posting this particular update – I’d not realised that the pictures were too large for the system to handle >_<
Anyhoo, onto the glorious Sons of Russ:
I think it’s safe to say that this is the most catastrophic damage any of my projects have taken. It’s not the end of the world though as A) I seem to have most of the parts in hand and B) it’s plastic Space Marines – the only resources more prevalent would seem to be hydrogen and stupidity…
(one note though – I’ve removed the Reivers heads as I’m repurposing them into Hounds of Morkai, and have ordered some of Puppets Wars revamped Wolf Helms for them)
Oh, and Rhythm of War? Burnt through it in less than a day, and Sanderson remains one of the most inventive voices in modern fantasy writing. I adore the character work he puts in, and his plotting is simply masterful – his work rewards reading his other Cosmere books, and the magic systems he has built are really well thought out. I know that there is a Mistborn RPG, but I would love to see someone try to make a set of tabletop rules….
Finished my little V diorama for a Star Wars Legion painting contest (yeah, I know).
It looks like The Final Battle is well and truly under way!
A bit of progress on the Sisters:
Painting my Joan of Arc Collection. In Lockdown I painted nearly 50% of my JoA Miniatures. My pile of shame is shrinking 😉
