Project Genres

Is there any chance that you can either make the “Genre” for a project an optional field or provide some options for “generic”?  I’m building a new hobby area, I started prior to BoW 2.0 and have decided to make a project detailing progress.  However I have had to pick an arbitrary genre because I wasn’t allowed to leave it blank but there weren’t really any relevant choices (I think I picked “family”).
