Steamforged Games Acquires Warmachine

So…this was a thing announced earlier, not sure if anyone else has talked about it or not. Evidently, Privateer Press has sold everything from Warmachine to their P3 paint line to Steamforged Games. Privateer will remain on as creative consultants to the IP, helping develop it into the future.

There is another announcement due on Thursday June 6 for details on everything beyond the Iron Kingdom.

I think I trust Steamforged to properly manage the WM universe more than PP. it’s a great game world that needs a fresh start with capable hands. (And not that 3d printed junk that failed miserably.)

I’m guessing the 3D printed stuff wasn’t popular enough to revive War machine.

I don’t see this ending well, but if steamforged manage to rescue the game without screwing someone over  I might actually buy from them again

The thing is Warmachine and Hordes were good games with great looking minis. It’ll be a shame if it disappears.
