ah yes the local hobby store – lucky to have so many options. Personally my choices are a 30 minute drive to Dublin City and the nightmare of dealing with that or 30 minutes drive the other direction to Navan.

Anyway, back to the pledge and I got the hobby sections of my office cleared and even managed to free up 8 shelves under the resin cleanup zone which had just been gathering clutter so that’s a nice bonus.

I’ve also put the Bambu to work printing some desk organisation stuff – lie to myself and pretend it won’t get messy and disorganised again

 

Special thanks to my eldest for the wall decoration. He decided the space was too grey and white and needed colour.

Let’s hope tomorrow is less white and more managable, because I am not sure if painting with the windows closed is a good idea. 😀

I’m late to this thread but here goes……….

 

I’m currently working on some US Cavalry 28mm miniatures for a new project for this new year!  I’m planning to play some games based around a, still existing, Kansas Cavalry Fort.  I don’t have it all figured out yet but gotta start some where.

 

I have bought some new miniatures already this year…….. the Marvel Crisis Protocol: Blue Marvel & Spectrum (Preorder).

They were paid for in January but have not shipped yet.  So I think they count.

Ah yes, another week with a dirty thread. As one of my old friends used to say “Ooh, squinchy”. 😆

Perhaps the white stuff is the necessary evil to play at being a Cocaine Owlbear. Then again, you did strain yourself live on stream so maybe you should refrain from you naked rampage through the neighborhood lest you be de-feeted by another tree or taken away to “The Happy Home”. Are asylums a thing anymore?

The Tau Commission is on deck, and to add, I have a Blood Angels commission! So I’ll be busy, for sure. Have a hockey game this week, I only sub goalie in a variety of leagues, so it’s good to get my first game in for the year.

Built a second table for my gaming room – it will now divide my work into a build space and a dedicated painting only table. No more switching and having to deal with dust or debris from building before painting. 👍

Other than that, it’s a Chinook week – went from double digits below zero to near 10c above for the next week forecasted. Snow is melting fast!

I spend way too much time trying to convince Gemini to not f*ck up the designs it is helping me create.

And it’s always the same flippin’ pattern.
(1) you tell it a few things

(2) it gives you a few options

(3) you pick one of the options to improve

(4) you get about 80% done

(5) it ruins the entire thing and you waste the rest of the evening trying to get back to where you were

It also doesn’t help that I spend a lot of time just thinking about starting on the thing I had worked out ages ago, because I’m kind of afraid it may not look as good in the real world as it did in my head.

Anyways … enough rambling. Time to go hobby.
