Got a little bit of hobby in this morning while the place was empty.

At the stage where I’m putting on a broad brush of shading across all the pieces – this will carry them through until such times as I decide to go in and paint the little details on some of them.

Unshaded…

Shading in process, I’m using the model mates dyes for speeds sake – I spray on a few colours (Mud, Oil, Moss) and then go over it all with a wet brush to reactivate the dye and move it off the higher surfaces.

Some dry ‘end results’ 🙂

Been watching Swamp Thing and it is giving me ideas for a Swamp Army for KoW!

Also been reclaiming what is ours… for the Papa!

I think there used to be Chaos Land Speeders, I half remember them being in Epic back in the 90s.  Answers on a postcard.  So this is one of two.  I might add Plague Bearers as the pilots and use them as Plague Drones.

It’s my shift in the Visitors Centre tonight (so remember folks if your ever over and at a loose end good old warzan it up for a visit! lol)

Anyway I took the opportunity to build a kit for me and the kids I’m planning on a little adventure in a Lake Town type place – perhaps even making it their ‘home town’

I asked Andrea if I could buy the plastic Lake Town kits from GW

So…. I kinda Instantly regretted buying it, the kit is OK but a bit lazily designed in places – to be fair being plastic made it easy to do a few little conversions here and there which was nice. But during the entire build I was thinking I should have done this with 4Ground 🙁

Anyway I persevered until I had it built – just letting the glue cure now.

So I will consider the painting stage now, but I do really really regret not going with 4Ground on this 🙁 as I could have then added the towers etc later down the line. Still maybe the plastic will be a little more robust with the little ones… time will tell.

How you guys getting on?

Hellboy wave 2 arrived … and I must say other than having to carry the weight of that box I regret nothing.

well … one thing I do regret.
Underestimating the amount of storage space I’d be needing for all those kickstarters.
