I’m a bit late. However…
My Pledge:
- Post photos of what I have been working on
- Finish my Ironjawz Megaboss for Orktober.
- Work on Ironjawz (Megaboss, 10x Brutes, Weirdnob Shaman, 3 Gore Gruntas, Gargant)
- Prime models (Battle Monsters, MOM Miniatures Mercenaries, SM Bikers)
- Show off my Kikcstarter that arrived (MOM Miniatures Mercenaries)
Answers:
1. What is, in your experience and opinion, the most balanced game?
In all honesty, and from what I have played with my own free time and experiences: The Middle Earth games from Games Workshop over the years. Pretty balanced, and you do not really come across leaf blower lists which can happen in 40k.
2. Have you ever play tested a game, gave feedback and if so, did it change anything? Tell us!
I played one or two sessions with a friend GMing Pax Draconis, an obscure and relatively forgotten RPG from the early 2000s. It was fun, but I am not sure if that were the rules or the DM.
I also GMed a little of the 2nd edition of Mongoose Publishing’s Runequest twice as a DM. It was fun to do but hard to get players together at the time and had to stand down with my duties.
3. Has any update, errata, rules update totally broken a game for you personally? If so, what was it?
I think how X-Wing between editions, from what I have heard, has not been handled well.
I think in general how GW do it kind of sucks. They are better with FAQs and errata but the differences going from third to fourth and fifth weren’t too bad with 40K but there was little inconsistency at times with psychic powers and how armies work broadly speaking not having the same consistency as say, Warmachine between editions. GW seem to have done it for change for the sake of change as opposed to a clear vision of games design. My opinion, as any, is subjective. More power to you if you like it this way, hypothetical disagree-er

Finished the Necromancer to go with my skeletons from a year ago for a complete warband for warcry.
October 15, 2019 at 9:00 pm #1447460Few pictures from the Batlle on Planet Hastings. Loyalist Ultramarines upsetting history by defeating (easily) the invading Deathguard. Enjoy.

There is a picture of my army set up too but I think the file is too large sadly.
Some tunes.
October 15, 2019 at 9:42 pm #1447461@Robert @sundancer My missus has some Mod Podge, what do you use it for?
October 16, 2019 at 5:23 am #1447502@woldenspoons Black Magic Craft hat some detailed info in one of his recent video explaining the differences between PVA, Mod Podge and some other white glues and MP is (at least that’s how I’ve understood it) the best sealant for XPS Foam buildings and terrain because it gets rather solid. Haven’t tried it yet though
October 16, 2019 at 8:25 pm #1447792October 16, 2019 at 10:17 pm #1447807@woldenspoons I’ve used it to seal scenery before.
The Nurgeeder is done for now…

And I am going to actually try and finish this book without cheating…

My stats rolls were decent!

October 17, 2019 at 9:07 pm #1448110@Robert with that much nurgle love you could have built it from scratch and no one would have known 😉
Nurgle is probably the only army aside orks that is very friendly for scratch building and modding as any mistakes can be considered intentional …
No, that’s not a heap of rotten plastic, that’s a Nurgle infested Baneblade … 😀
