During my 12 hr shift today I finished up a WH40k Epic Eldar force that I have had on the backburner for a friend because I thought it would be nice to do. I now hate 6mm. I will do all that I can not to repeat this mistake.

Just finished up my first squad of Anvil Industry’s great ‘Daughters of the Burning Rose’ Sisters of Battle (with a Seraphim because I couldn’t resist waiting to paint one). I’ve used heads from Statuesque Miniatures.

In my very first foray into the dark ages, Im painting up a Romano-British army for War and Conquest.

First unit is a 12 man Pedyt archer unit and the army standard bearer (whose standard is yet to arrive, danged if i’m painting that myself 😀 )

As this is a bigger army than I’ve painted in a while, Im going back to the tried and tested method of paint a unit then do a more interesting character.

The last 5 heroes for wander are all finished. These characters were a blast to paint. As a side note with these 17 finished that make 130 models or terrain pieces painted up this year.

I recently rebased and touched up a couple of my Ronin from Kensei to be used for either Torri or Test of Honor.

Such gorgeous minis as I love the older style lead minis for their character and that painting lead always feels better than plastic.

The Techmarines fixed up one of the broken Dreadnoughts so Brother Eardsidh can once again wade into war.
