Company B Get Some Old School Wheels
December 17, 2012 by dracs
Company B have returned to ye olden days of motorised transport with their new Model T Touring Car.
Yeah, you'll be travelling in style now right?
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what you might use this car for, but hey who doesn't like the style of these really old vintage car?
Can you guys think of a use for this latest piece from Company B?

Automobiles have infrequently appeared in Western fiction. “The Wild Bunch,” set in 1913, is regarded as a Western classic despite the appearance of several automobiles and a plot revolving around automatic weapons. The characters examine it, and realize the days of the horse-mounted bandit are almost done. In addition, director Sam Peckinpah used the automobile as a symbol of the diminishing Western way of life in at least two other films. Likewise, the video game “Red Dead Redemption” includes a scene where the main character uses a Browning machine gun from atop an armored car, but no one would claim this is not also a “Western.”
Anyone interested in recreating “Red Dead Redemption” might want to check out mounted machine guns from Company B or Pulp Adventures. In addition to home-brew rules for transporting troops or being used as an early gun truck, the Model T can serve the same function as a stagecoach in any Old West scenario. The Model T had a top speed of 40-45 mph. By comparison, a Thoroughbred horse can gallop at 40 mph and a Quarter Horse can sprint at up to 55 mph for short distances. Theoretically, a cavalryman could keep pace with a Model T, especially off-road.
