Love a good demo game
Awesome Game, well played Justin, the finishing move was a blast.
well done the lads, epic match.
unlucky Killian mate.
this really is a Justin style game and I new he was going to be a real handful. well done that man.
my ebay shop bought collectors edition arrived today but I was badly package and the boxes corners were pretty bashed in. got to say i’m a little disappointed in the card stock for the collectors edition box as it doesn’t look like it will last anyway. not sure what i’m going to do but i’m likely going to send it back. took the jam right out of my doughnut.
Yay a 2nd demo game. Great fun.
more games of ARISTEIA in the future plz
Keep them coming guys! I still don’t have enough of it
Close game. So much to get your head around with this. Still feel like Maximus is over rated. He doesn’t die, but he also doesn’t do much.
His move when any ally other than you is attacked is were he shines he also gets damage for allies if you want.
Awesome battle report.
So how is this gonna work in tournament play? What about pick up games?
Will the norm be to show up with one box plus expansions, and draft cards and miniatures?
Or will it be a case of showing up with your own team and deck, even if that means duplicate team members and cards in play?
Both are options the latter the suggested method.
great match and video, Aristeia week was great thank you guys! I just played my first games of Aristeia and I have to say its brilliant and very easy to learn. We didn’t even need to use the How to Play rule book thanks to the videos this week, we just had a go at each other.
Good game guys! Well played Justin! You sure do know how to game sir! I salute you! I usually want you to lose (cos you normally win!) but as you say….. the rules of probability go out the window when on camera but I think you do yourself an injustice! You got game! I was gonna go into some rant about how you keep using the word ‘went’ instead of ‘gone’ and how it drives me up the wall but I shall resist and instead bask in the knowledge that you will always tell us what ‘the thing is’…….
Hope we’ll get to see a multi-player game at some point with the expansions coming out.
Awesome demo game! You guys make it look so easy
Still watching this, i find it a little confusing a bit. Seems like fun though.
good fight.. this game looks fantastic and seems to so as well
This was a fantastic game!
thats it i crumpled and bought the game and started printing my own bits to make a custom board. well winter is coming and a project is needed
Nice demo game. This was so close. I love that positioning is so more important in Aristeia than in many other games, which makes viable even heroes with minimum offensive abilities.
Yesterday we had the CB staff (bran do Castro, V and the doctor) showing the game in our local store, they took all the miniature available (core box, first expansion and Maximus termopilas) I’m very surprised how nice and close those people are to us (I have never heard of any GW staff doing this since I started 16 yrs ago) this game only deserve success.
It looks like it captures a lot of the character shenanigans and flavour of Guild Ball. Question then is, is it worth playing both or do they scratch too similar an itch?
Sweet finishing move Justin!
The entire Infinity week was great. Thanks for the content and demo games.
The power cards do a quite a bit of fun to the game.
Well played Sir, what a brilliant move in that last turn 🙂
Tension till the last round. What a game.
The game play looks fantastic. Can’t wait to get in my first game. I love the combinations that can be achieved with different characters. Glad I pre-ordered.
Looks good
Very nice demo game.
Great video guys. I have been trying to order hoping to get it for xmas and followed the link but I cant figure how to on CB store. Is it sold out already or not available yet ? weird given all the promo.
Just bought the game because of your videos, lol
Great demo game. Looks super fun!
Thanks for playing a few games for us to really see the rules in action. I also like the breakout moments where you really explain concepts!
wow! very tight match
I like that idea, to release “Skins” for existing players very much.
Wow! that sly smile @bostria gave when he told @dignity “That is a very smart use of that card.” That was some amazing mischief twinkling there.
The game looks tight
This looks like a damn good game
May the best win!
I was surprised that the control team did not do better. Well played by Justin.
I can’t wait to play this in a tournament!
This battle report rox!
This was a cool fight
I’ve been hearing a lot about this game recently. Seems interesting, thanks for the video!
Diggin’ those gameplay videos. Keep it up
You all do a wonderful job with these demo games. Keep up the great work!
Iooks mint ill have to get in on this
This entire game I want to commentate on like a sportscaster: “And Musashi’s back this round. Reappears in… Zone 4 Right behind Parvati! Too bad he’s not quite close enough for a stab so he sprints for the zone!”
Awesome games!
That was a good game to watch. Many surprising tactics to play, both with the character abilities and cards.
Justin didn’t play the Maximus & 8-ball combo as I envisioned it. So I guess there are still different ways to play with the same team.
The game looks the mutz nutz!
Excited about this game.
Aristeia is really getting better and better after each video
great game but you never used maximus ability to displace himself whenever a ally is targeted for an attack.
Fortune Favors the Badass is actually an in game ability?
this is definitely going to be a fun game. I keep watching videos over and over again. I think the cards add a new dimension to the board game and introduce player from other deck building systems into miniatures I plan to make a scale coliseum board to flesh it out and give some mad max in thunder dome feel with an obvious Infinity twist to it. I also feel for those who are looking to enter into the miniatures table top hobbies on a budget nows the time a release every two months for four models. that gives plenty of time to paint play and be ready for whos next in two months.
I love this kind of game!
Good game!
Awesome demo!
This was lovely!
This was a great show!
It’s a little like infinity lite. Will this bring more players to Infinity or will it simply be infinity players that moonlight in Aristeia? Time will tell!
Justin, you can do it!
Finally finished watching through the Aristeia! content this week. Great job Carlos, Killian and Justin! The game has finally hit Canadian online retailers and I was able to snag a copy before it went out of stock again(!). Looking forward to some fun with it over the holidays.
Great game guys. Just makes me want this even more 🙂
