About the Project
This was an early project I am bringing back to life, I created this when Soul Wars came out as I was quite taken with the nighthaunt figures at the time. I had bought the first and second edition starter sets but never really got started with AoS and I was determined ovoid the 3rd edition as I wasn't playing it or painting the figures but a friend of my got himself a couple of getting started boxes of Sylvaneth and then complained he didnt have anyone to play against. I then saw Dominion on Waylands black friday sale for half price and I caved. This is my attempt to paint what I have as quickly as possible so I can get them on the table.

I changed a couple of colours but basically its all contrast, these guys were all done in less than a day!
My First One
My first go at a project, I got my hands on a copy of Soul Wars when it came out and spent the recent hobby night live building the models from it. I wanted to give the nighthaunts a go as I liked the models and thought they would make a fun project. The plan was to go with fairly standard GW paint scheme but I would like them to have a inner green glow.
Next up was the ectoplasm, which was done using the new GW nighthaunt gloom and dry brushed with Ulthuan Grey
Then i covered the cloak with a Incubi Darkness which was highlighted with Kabalite Green and dawnstoneAt this point I tried a brown for the wood but didn’t really like it and changed it to a grey for old wood using the recipe from White Dwarf, black, with eshin grey and administratum grey highlights.
At this point I realised that I had lost my green glow but I wasn’t to unhappy with the results.
I will try and get some better photos of the end result when I have a moment. Let me know where and what I improve, photos aren’t the best I was using my phone.
