Paint the horns and any protruding spikes Gorthor Brown. I've done the teeth in the chain axe too because they look organic
Then I drybrushed the bits I just did with ubshabti bone.How I paint plague marines part 4
Use older brushes for the next bits. This technique really knackers them up.
Apply Typhus Corrosion to the metal. Don't worry about being too neat.
Once fully dry drybrush the metal with Ryza Rust. Again don't worry about being too neat. Also try to apply it thicker and lighter in different areas for a lessened uniform look.How I paint plague marines part 3
I then mute the flesh parts down again by giving them a light drybrush of rakarth flesh followed by an even lighter drybrush of pallid wych flesh.

I gave him a reasonably heavy wash of Agrax Earthshade.
I then washed the tubes, fleshy parts and tongues with either Druchii Purple, Carroburg Crimson or Coelia Greenshade. I don't have any specific preference as what I use for each, I think a more random approach looks better visually. I also put Carroburg Crimson in the eye lenses.
