About the Project

Greetings, I am known in my local community for getting miniatures together pretty fast and I have gone into Adeptus Titanicus pretty heavily. I managed to snag one of the Titan Battlegroup boxes and I am going to document my progress. Regards, Khibyusa

Right….

This is one of the more not fun parts of this build…

A lot of these issues stem from the fact that the Reaver pre-dates FW using CAD for their Titans.

AAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate these legs. Warlords are so much easier to put together….

Reaver Waist

Greetings,

Onto the waist and legs. Now this is the part of the Reaver Titan that is very unpleasant to do.

Waist profileWaist profile
Waist front Waist front

The waist has one side that is longer than the other. The longer side it for the longer piece of armour that protects the crotch. The rear is shorter and is for the butt armour

Leg and waist breakdownLeg and waist breakdown

The legs and waist are a what I loathe to do on Reavers. The thigh parts are interchangable, as are the shins. The armour for the thighs are just repeats, but the feet…

The feet only go on in a single way. The central toe has a rise in the armour from one side to the other. The left foot has this higher on the right when you are looking at the toes directly and vice versa for the right foot.

Feet detail. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS UNHOLY, look at the instructions for this bit...Feet detail. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS UNHOLY, look at the instructions for this bit...

Anyway, cookies are in the oven and I need a shower. Legs will be prepped after I deal with that and after I melt the chocolate and prepare the strawberries to go onto the cookies.

Greetings,

The torso and head of the Reaver are done.

Front viewFront view

I wish that there was a variant Reaver head. I do not like the look of this one.

I will say that the Reaver kit is the most awkward to put together and warming up with the torso is better for me as the legs are a veritable pain in the unmentionables…

Legs and waist will be done next, but I am going to quickly throw some cookies together before I go to work.

Greetings,

What is in the box of bigness?

A lot of plasticrack…

Smell the plasticrack.....Smell the plasticrack.....

9 sprues, 4 bases, 3 transfer sheets, 3 instruction manuals and a sense of dread as I am going to throw this together rapidly.

DISCLAIMER!!!

I am not going in blind to this. My Adeptus Titanicus forces currently stand at 3 Warlords, 2 Reavers, 4 Warhounds, 12 Questoris Knights and 2 Cerastus Knights.

I will be ignoring parts of the manuals as it makes more sense to me to make the torso first over the legs as I want to have some movement in the legs.

DISCLAIMER 2!!!

I am not going to be making all of the Titans magnetised as I only have 14 magnets and I need 12 just for the Reaver! 8 for the Warlord. 6 for each Warhound.
