I thought I would give this contest ago. This has been sitting on the shelf for years (I think I got this when it came out) and it has been so nearly finished, this is just the spur I need to get it done.

This Project is Completed
Cleaning and assembling
To start with I need to remove the cobwebs and dust and finish assembling the warriors. There were also a few missing bases which I need to scrounge up.
Colour scheme
This is the test warrior i did for colours, i put a wash on it next
A brown wash applied

The highlights are:
Zandri Dust -> Baneblade Brown for the wraps and Ushabti Bone for bone
Chaos Black -> Dark Reaper -> Thunderhawk Blue
Xereus purple -> Genestealer Purple
Cadian Fleshtone -> Kislev Flesh
Mournfang Brown -> Skrag Brown
Khorne Red -> Wazdakka Red
Balthasar Gold -> Gehennas Gold
Starting the big guy
The one on the left was the orginal, and gave it an over brush with Khorne Red to make it more like the box image
I've done some more work on the rope and wood here, mainly applied a wash and some highlights
The Howdah finished and assembled
Added the side platforms and some blood around the arrows. I also trimmed up the fletching to make the smaller as they were looking a bit big, i also gave them green fletchingBasing and final assembly
Here it is assembled (I havent stick it on base yet) but this it what it looks like with the minis onboard
I have cleaned up and finished the features on the base and then given it vallejo brown wash all over.I am not sure to do with the basing of the warriors, I thinking just some wasteland style basing and some army painter tufts. Also I would like to run some cables between to top of the Howdah and the front platform but I need to find a twisted string in the right sort of scale.
