Manda’s (Amachan) Order of Heimdallr

I got a whole bunch of movement trays in for use in Midgard for both my Ἕλληνες (Hellēnes) and the Order of Heimdallr.

Yes I will be adding Midgard as a game for this army to be playable in.

Over in my ‘Oiling Up’ project I have been working on new paint schemes. The latest model I painted I painted in the new colour scheme for my fantasy army. This is Dynamic Haleth from Hasslefree Miniatures showcasing what the new paint scheme should look like.

Soon in that project I will be rebasing and updating the paint scheme on an older model to the new standard. I will share the results in here when it is done. After that I can start reworking this army. Yes, this is all taking some time. Recovery from surgery and other health issues kind of slowed things down a lot, but now there is an end in sight for the proof of concept work as well.

That’s the new additions to the Order of Heimdallr all done and ready to join the ever-growing paint queue…. 😩

I have finally finished the clean up and fixing the Jötnar. It is not perfect, but a hell of a lot better then it used to be.

I started the gap filling and clean up on my Jötnar and had to get the greenstuff out. This is all I got done today, the back of the legs were horrendous and I levelled up my sculpting skills.

I build the Mountain Jotnar from Para Bellum’s Conquest tonight and I am happy it fits well on a 75mm square base for Kings of War. Just some cleanup and gap filling to do. This will be my Jötnar or Giant for the Order of Heimdallr. Bananaman for scale.

Here are my Kings of War movement trays. I was first planning on just using the rubber magnetic sheet and keep them flexible, but found out that didn’t work so well as the model will not move through each other when the tray flexes….. So I got some of the Kings of War movement trays, put some magnets in the bottom and glued a rubber magnetic sheet on top. This will be great for transporting miniatures in their trays. Now they just need paint.

I got the new bases for the Valkyrjur for the Order of Hemdallr build. The models aren’t glued to it yet and I am also redoing the spears using wire spears so the old ones were removed. Scenic bases in the middle to get the frontage for Kings of War.
