Papsikels have a link to xeno wars one page rules army lists covering aliens, predators,marines, engineers and the corporation. This is my 1000 point marine recon force. It includes an officer. A command unit with adjutant. Two recon squads with heavy sniper rifles, the ARC carrier and a special weapons squad with plasma rifles. The army lists allow you to give them all sorts of special weapons and abilities. This small force is designed to be a scout force. I found these prints available from David Sheff models. Giles only £3 and give some nice scatter terrain for my clinic. Some thing I really wanted was body bags. We managed to set the self destruct but only I got to the escape shuttle which means we lost but I like to think I got away and she was left to explode. Using blacksitestudios violent dark game we played three scenarios which are all rolled up randomly following the crew of four. They had to enter to complex and investigate an anomaly and as a side mission bring the power back on at three switches while avoiding what ever random horror appears.  The crew discovered the anomaly to be an alien egg. That didn't look good. Setting up a sentry gun they got to work bringing the power back on only to be stalked by a couple of xenos. Covering each other the crew survived to head into the medlab.They had to enter to complex and investigate an anomaly and as a side mission bring the power back on at three switches while avoiding what ever random horror appears. The crew discovered the anomaly to be an alien egg. That didn't look good. Setting up a sentry gun they got to work bringing the power back on only to be stalked by a couple of xenos. The final mission is where it all went wrong. The op centre was filled with noxious fumes which gad to be turned off. However it was occupied by some rogue synthetics. With a polite request to tell us all about their safety protocols the working Joe's batterd down doors and heads. The specialist put on his environment protection suit and got to work but between the killer fumes and the Joe's the marines soon succumbed. Mission failure.
