About the Project
This project is about me getting back into the hobby after a long hiatus. I moved from the United States to New Zealand a couple of years ago and when I come back for Christmas every year, we get in a massive apoc game with my old friends! This year I intended to increase the tank presence of my Krieg army now that the new rules have dropped!

Kriegs’s staple
I was really happy to get my hands on the gorgon now that it was re released! Hopping it won’t take as long as the macharius but considering all the interior work that needs to be completed I’d wager it will be one of the longest running projects I’ve done for this army 
He lives!
Well we all know how it goes. Life, job, and taxes always take us away from our beloved projects.
but I return with more tanks!
I’ve had a rather productive Sunday afternoon and completed most of the weathering for this side of the leman Russ conquer. However I’m a little worried I was a bit heavy handed with the weathering powder. Oh well once it’s on there is not much you can do about it. Hopefully it won’t be too jarring.
Repaint
So after showing these to a friend I was told my contrast was far too harsh. I’ve now blended these back down. I think they were correct. I think they look much better now
Distraction
So weirdly, this particular model has always exemplified what 40k is to me. It’s grim. It’s a little disturbing (lobotomized humans) and it shows just how unimportant a single human is in the imperium. And to add on to it, his very task seems pointless, as his typing seems to just scroll away into nothing. I’ll be using him as one of my servitors for my quartermaster

I had a friend give me this tank a couple of years ago and I think it is time it also got some paint on it. I have to say now that I have a massive tank already complete the rest look far less daunting. This time, while I did freehand the regimental marking. I used decals to hopefully tie this tank in more with some of the firsts ones I did in my army many years ago
Keeping it going
Well now that I completed something large, I felt it only right to switch to the other end of the spectrum and paint the imperiums smallest tank.
I may need to take a break for a few days now, my hand is cramped from all the white highlights ?
