About the Project
Revisiting some old games and bringing them back to life and seeing if they are as good as I remember. This includes a bit of painting and modeling as well was forcing folk to play them.

Bloodbowl
I picked up the second edition of bloodbowl to add to my old hammer collection. I had this set back in the day and with the release of the latest version it got me in the mood to tackle the older kit.i hit these old minis today with some poppy 80s colour schemes for the Bright Crusaders

I rather like that the ultimate skaven is this old mini who is classed as a fearsome monster in the rules. If this game came out today he’d be a huge verminlord kit.
RETURN TO THE WARLORDS LAIR
Our heroes owed 60 gold from living expenses in between expeditions into the dungeon so head back to the warlords lair in debt. 
They are joined by a new hero named Klaus who replaces the dead Heinrich.
Returning to where they started the group find the Skaven they left behind still waiting for them. Klaus is shot in the back by the elf after a fumble but the adventurers clear the room and find enough treasure to pay their debts.
The group explore a maze of normal rooms seemingly abandoned 
Untill they come across a horde of skaven who they tackle cowardly one at a time from the door and a well placed fireball spell.
Klaus is later ambushed by two of the luckiest Skaven who manage to knock him out. His comrades give up a potion to save him and run from the dungeon to spend some gold heal up and return.
After a sneaky trap and another ambush the heroes are butchered apart from Klaus the new boy who has lost all his friends. Carrying as much gold as he can he escapes to fight another day.GREY SEER
Classic horned rat mini with his brass orbFirst expedition into the Warlords lair
After meeting in a tavern (of course) our four heroes head on down the stairs into the Skaven warlords lair in search of the first piece of a magic amulet.
After exploring the first room they find another way out of the dungeon under guard. These Skaven are dispatched.
Heading in the opposite direction the dwarf has an accident when he steps on a mantrap and losers a foot making him more stunty. The elf is then hit by a dart trap and close to death is healed by the wizard.
Searching for stairs down to the next level our heroes are ambushed in a corridor from both sides. The wizard throws a ball of flame clearing the rear whle the elf and warrior chop up the ones in front.
Around the corner a lair is discovered full of nasty ratmen and our heroes are so weak they decide to head for the exit while the warrior holds them all off. He has to keep the skaven away while the dwarf (missing a leg) struggles to keep up.
Once his companions are away the warrior makes a break for it but is cut down by his foes. His companions escape but have to find a replacement before returning to the dungeon. I forgot how harsh this game can be to the heroes. Warpweaver
Clan Skrye Warpweaver is a title you dont see anymore. I guess warlock engineers have taken this position. The mini for the old warpweaver spellcaster was being used in my plague monk force.RAT NINJA
