About the Project
After having played a few games of Crisis Protocol ive decided its good enough to warrant a paint job. Completely different to what im used to doing so keeping my goals relatively low. Just need them to be table ready, lets see what happens!

“Im always picking up after you boys”
Next up its Black Widow. Im going to prime her black and after the horror of painting yellow over green with Doc I’m going to mask off her head and to a two tone basecoat. Black for the body and light grey for the head. Should take a lot of the pain out of the face and hair!
Romanov, DONE!
“I had strings, but now I'm free. There are no strings on me...“
Going to use red ink to mark out where i need to paint. Will then go in with an orange an ink again. Fingers xd all very straight forward!
And the big lad is done!
“Rolling down the street, like a turd, in the wind”
Now the starter is done its time for some of the new releases. Firstly, the iconic anti hero, Venom!!Been looking forward to this one!
And he is done, ready to eat some villians
“Thats my secret, i’m always angry”
Continuing on from the post starter set models its one I’m very much looking forward to painting, its the biggest of the big guys. HULK!
“Thanos will have nothing but dust, and blood”
- Now its on to the heroes of Wakanda. First its the king himself. The Black Panther
Well that was easy!!
“I hope you’re ready bro, because I’m just getting started“
Next up its Wakandas forgotten son. Erik Killmonger
And here is is, ready to cause havoc!
“By Odin’s beard, you shall not cut my hair, lest you feel the wrath of the mighty Thor”
The postman has been this morning and has delivered the Guardians of Asgard!! Thor, Hela, Loki and Valkeriye. Whilst I'm really excited at the prospect of getting these guys on the table they definitely seem to have a lot more detail on them which for a speed painter like me is a little daunting. Out of the four Thor seems to be the simplest option so lets get to work on the Lord of Sparkles himself!!In the wash step i did break one of my rules and painted red ink straight onto the cape without adding wash medium. Ended up with a gritty looking finish but managed to pull it back with a 50/50 wash strong tone mix. Not perfect but good enough!
