Spent the afternoon undercoating the models with the airbrush.  Vallejo mecha primer bone.

Brushes out? Let's begin!

After a late afternoon government mandated period of lockdown exercise and some dinner I returned to them and started laying down colours. Guilleman contrast flesh is amazing! Then I started the colours of the trim. Blue and blue, inspired by the football team I support: Wycombe Wanderers.. don’t judge me!!

Light blue is done. Dark blue is inked and waiting for highlights

I was asked on Facebook how big the minis were. Here are a couple of size shots, one with a Burrows and Badgers mini and another with a ruler

As the infantry were built in minutes I moved on to the Thing Flinger, a large oxen type creature with a catapult strapped to its back.  Once again, the resin cast was absolutely top notch. The only cleaning required was a couple of gates.

With all the component parts cleaned up I did a test fit. I’ve kept the catapult seperate to aid with painting

Last night I set aside to clean and build the halflings.  I was more than pleasantly surprised to find that there was next to no flash, the only real work needed on the halflings was to sand the gates down on the bottom of the bases. Suffice to say they took next to no time
