So this year I managed to get my hands on some Assault on Black Reach Orks for the price of a pint and so I decided to go back and complete the army that 12 year old me wanted to do if only I had the funds at the time! I reached out to eBay and bought a load of gorkamorka model vehicles which I have always loved and seen as quintessentially orkish

Just got 10 warbikes and the mega armoured HQ (the not Gazghull model).
When I look at the piccies above I noticed that I haven’t added weathering or rust to the deathcopters! I might have to go back and add that in… spring clean challenge anyone? can I blag it?

The wastage or unrecoverable modelsWhat we are looking at is a £100 eBay rescue job.
It’s taken 3 or 4 months of on off work (mostly off) and some interesting playing with cardboard. It is the first time that I’ve used cardboard as a modelling material like this. It has worked very well and I’m glad I’ve given it a go.
Wastage was minimal, 4 Boyz, 2 Warbikes and some spares from the Scortcha.
I am super happy with the vehicles and I can definitely go through and spruce up the infantry with highlights when I can be bothered. But for now, this job is done.
now to hide them away in a box never to be seen again!look what I found!
A while ago I sold this whole ork force to fund other things. I was very happy with the price I got for them and carried on living my little life.
Fast forward to today and look what I found on eBay!
best of luck to the bloke selling them, but I don’t think you improved on my colour scheme and my basing was definitely better!
