A spring clean of my old Martian Empires collection with the hope of taking my forces from Earth to Mars and adding some as senery

Continuing my Martian empires range with a steam tank and some more Infantry and cavalry with lances 
Classic Martians
I spotted these at partizan and had to grab them. Based on the 50s war of the world's movie. I'm sure I'll find a use for them.
Martian warmachines
I spotted these 3d prints for sale at the partizan wargames show yesterday and I spent today giving them a simple paint job to match my other machines and scenery. They do a good job blending in with both 28m and 18m
Kitbash
Using a mix of boxer and bulldog boxes from wargames Atlantic I've added some Chinese fighters. Also another Martian using a mix of kits
Quest for the lost heirloom
Crackenthorpes crew head south to the Martian town of ka Tukan after hearing that a vendor at the market is hawking an heirloom belonging to a local ruler unaware if its importance. If they can retreave it from the town they could get in the rulers good books.
Three well armed lizardmen are also on the hunt for their prussian masters
The crew head into town heading for the buildings in search of the heirloom
Chaplin and casey flank a lizardmen forcing it to take shelter
A fire fight erupts across the rooftops 
Captain Crackenthorpe is taken by surprise by the lizardmen leader armed with a prussian burst gun that lobs explosive shells
Chaplin rushes to his captains aid popping shots at the lizard leader who rakes shelter
A return burst shell takes down Chaplin and despite raking out one rooftop lizardman and forcing one to flee their leader holds out. Either the sound of approaching prussian zeppelins the crew carry their wounded leader from the town empty handed. Crackenthorpe needs time to recover and spend some time shooting distant rocks to improve their aim for the next encounter Salvaging the Augustus
Captain Crackenthorpes crew had one last mission at the polar region of mars. Chaplains old missionary contact informed the crew of a a Ether flyer convoy that got lost in the polar peaks. On board were the deeds the missionary needed to stake a territorial claim. Without it the British Martian company would take the land. The crew had to find the deeds on the downed Augustus before the company sends its own crew in.

Perry snipes at the enemy as they appear above the snow drifts forcing them to take cover
Rachel wrench gets a lucky shot at an approaching company man and causes a Martian guide to flee
Crackenthorpe and Mak-Ash take up position on the Augustus while company salvage crew take defensive positions 
Mak-ash is hit as shots ping off the cover
The cover used by both sides disrupts shots
The company captains heavy gun fails to do any damage and chaplain finds a clue that may lead the crew to another quest but with the deeds secure Crackenthorpe carries Mak-Ash from the field. The missionaries deeds handed over the crew depart the polar region on a new questMartian princess

Polar Mars
On their first adventure the crew head to the frozen polar region of Mars. Its here where the ice floods into the southern canals. They planned to visit a mitionary friend of sims but the local colonial administrator has asked them for help. A military depot has been raided by an aggressive gang of lizard men. The venusian reptiles were abandoned by their prussian masters and being col bloodied have become desperate. Their raids need to be stopped and stolen supplies recovered. The celeste crew had to secure the supplies in the middle of the field.
The lizard men have two armed with powerful titles stolen from the military supplies. In the AI system for the game they act aggressively closing with the enemy when possible 
To keep the lizard men at bay perry's keen shot takes one down as the crew approach 
The Martian nomad takes up position behind cover andvlays down fire
The female members of the crew rush forward using the icy conditions to slide closer to their objective but are in the open and take fire
That prussian training comes in handy as shots fly from the lizard men forcing some crew behind cover
After some successful return fire the lizard leader is down and using the slippey ice for extra movement the crew secure the objective, but for how long
The lizard men rush in and a vicious close range fire fight erupts as the charging reptiles are shot down 
Captain Crackenthorpe struggles for his life and despite being beaten down his life is saved (thanks to a luck point) and the blade strikes his pocket watch
Despite beating the captain the victorius lizard man is ashamed to see his comrade flee the battle. Disgusted he runs after him and is shot in the back. A bad end for a warrior. The crew secure the supplies and get paid. No one sustained any continuous injuries. Using the money to pay off some ship debts the crew look for their patron for their next mission
