Basing my 0-12 finally

About the Project
I've been waiting for so long for the bases to arrive for my 0-12 force, but they finally came week before last. Now I could have done this that weekend, but I only get every second weekend to paint, the other weekend is to play games with the painted figures. With my terminal illness, I really want to play as much as I can, before the Brain Cancer catches me, so I never miss a club meet. This weekend is the painting weekend, and I'm really trying to get the 0-12 ready to play with. Not that it's actually my intention to take to next meet. Next meet, if I make it, I'd like to take my Japanese Secessionist Army and try using the Aragoto bikers I recently painted for them, along with the Kuroshi Rider that I painted ages ago when they dropped the whole Secessionist box.

Priming.
First thing after the sanding and cleaning, of course was the priming. I went with the Vallejo Premium White Primer 62.061.
Cleaning.
The Paint shop boss also suggested using a special plastic cleaner after the sanding, which he provided too. He has been incredibly helpful. I’m not actually sure what it is, but I did test it on the sprue first.
Sanding.
The instructions say that to help paint adhere to the acrylic, they should be lightly sanded. Now I didn’t want to make the acrylic, so I asked the advice of the Paint shop boss at work, and he suggested using a very fine Scotch-Brite, which can be seen at the top of the photo.
Checking the numbers.
I did keep all the original bases, as this is just a set of base toppers, designed for the bases that come with Infinity miniatures. First thing I did was make sure they were the right sizes, and that I had enough. Yes it looks like I don’t have enough, but I bought two sets, so I’m fine, even when I get more 0-12.
Bases have finally arrived!
I ended up deciding on the Death Ray Designs Tech Corps 2-Layer Base Inserts, for that high Sci-Fi look.
