About the Project

This is a 1/72 scale American Civil War project for Sharp Practice. I will be building two small forces, one for the Union and the other for the Confederates using Italieri and Hat models I bought several years ago at a car boot sale. I have managed to find six boxes, but I know I have a few more stored up somewhere. Nonetheless, I have enough to build up two playable forces.

Hi everyone,

Just finished the canon and crew, a banner-man and drummer for the  Confederates.

I have also prepared the last 15 miniatures for the  Confederate line troops.

A step closer to the finish line!

Hi everyone,

I am currently working on several projects at the same time today, but I managed to finished another 6 miniatures for this project. Two bannermen and musicians for both sides and a pair of duelists.

I now only have 5 minis left to paint before this project is over.  The countdown is well on its way.

Until then have fun and stay safe.

Hi everyone,

The project is finally ready!, and I have just taken pictures to show everything I have done in one post.

There are also the last 5 miniatures that I was painting, that represent NPCs and specialists as well.

The Project is Complete!

The Confederate Force.The Confederate Force.
NPCs: The General and the President.NPCs: The General and the President.
Specialists: The Sniper, the Pastor and the Old Spy.Specialists: The Sniper, the Pastor and the Old Spy.

That is a wrap then! I find it a great source of satisfaction every time I complete a project, especially when it is an army project – this is because I do not enjoy painting armies.

Nonetheless, I do love looking at my armies fully painted! Well then, have I learned my lesson and taught myself that self-torture is not a holistic practice!

The answer is no! I have already started my next army project.

Until we meet again in other projects, stay safe and have fun.
