The screaming finally stopped as the vampire turned to ash in it's stone coffin. Sergeant Mulhern continued to grip the wooden stake, his face covered in the creatures blood. "So much blood" he whispered shaking his head. "Over here" shouted Private Perkins from across the gloomy castle crypt, "There seems to be a stairwell underneath this one". The Sergeant closed his eyes and sighed. "Jolly good" exclaimed Captain Blatherdash, "Mr Mclure bring your torch".

Wash: Payne’s Grey then varnished matt/satin.
Drybrush: Pale Sand (Vallejo Model Color).
Skin:
- Base – Tan Earth (Vallejo Model Air)
- Wash – Strong Tone (Army Painter)
- 1st Highlight – Tan Earth mixed with Ice Yellow (Vallejo Model Color)
- 2nd Highlight – Ice Yellow
- Glaze – Tan Earth
Black– Liquitex Black Ink mixed with glaze medium.
Green – Lizard Green (Vallejo Xpress Color).
Shirt sleeves – highlighted with Ivory (Vallejo Model Color) over original prime, wash and drybrush, then a glaze of Templar White (Vallejo Xpress Color).
Hair – highlighted with Pale Sand (Vallejo Model Color) over original prime, wash and drybrush.
Wooden Stakes – (Gerry’s new wood) Base of Golden Brown (Vallejo Model Air). Dark Grey Wash followed by a Light Brown (Vallejo Model Air) then edge highlight.
Metallics (all varnishing done before metallic step):
- Base – Gunmetal Grey (Vallejo Model Color) mixed with Panzer Dark Grey and flow improver.
- Wash – Strong Tone (Army Painter).
- Highlight – Silver (Vallejo Game Color) mixed with flow improver.
- Brass/Gold – layer of Hoplite Gold (Speed Paint 2.0) over previous metallic steps
The Silver Bayonet it's basically a Dungeon crawl (get the treasure, fight the monsters, survive)
