About the Project
I've always floated around napoleonic wargames but I've never concentrated on it. I've done tiny 10m andxa bit of 28m. This new year I want to work on napoleonic minis for 3 different systems....maybe four.

Smaller scale
Looking at the rules for soldiers of Napoleon I think this system works better for smaller scales. I already have a French army in 10mm so had a look at the army lists. I have enough minis for three brigades which us great. I need to dig out my British alied army and see what they have. The armies need a bit of a repair. I also found what scenery I have for this scale. I think I need moreBased up Russian force
Silver Bayonet Russians
Thrown in with the rest of my Russians I have a small band of supernatural investigators that I printed from lost heresy. I thought while i was sticking to the Russian theme I'dget my silverbayonet minis done at the same time and get some blurry pics done. Heading home after the Christmas break tomorrow so i can get to basing. Starting a Russian force
Every Christmas I spend a couple weeks away in Ireland and I always take some minis with me to paint. In preparation I 3D printed some Russians from battle cat miniatures. For £15 you can get stl files for the vast majority of infantry. I've printed off three 12 man infantry units. One 12 man grenadiers unit and 8 light infantry men an officers. What I have already....French
I have a sizable French collection fir skirmish games already put together with a couple of perry plastic boxes. Trouble is remembering what each unit is meant to be. The French army is a confusing collection of different units. I had to look at my old paint jobs and try and figure out who they all are and if they are covered in the SandB rules.
The guard also have their own versions of the chasseur and carabiner units just to confuse me even more. These are the Guard Voltigeurs
I have three units of standard fusilier infantry but to confuse things I painted a unit in red as allied Swiss.
Grenadiers. I have all the infantry covered apart from national guard militia units but it's the cavalry I need. They are just as confusing as the infantry with some of the same classifications. Because units are in squads of 12 or 8 and as low as 4 you can cover a lot of options with just a couple of plastic kits. It's worth going for the skirmish look as rank and file marching doesn't look right to me in a small scale game.
