Hastati/Principes
Hastati/Principes units, based the same as the Triarii (and the Cohorts in the Imperial Roman force I’ve already done too). 3 of the 6 completed
Equites and General Unit
Opted for just 1 type of Cavalry unit, based in line as Medium for our own DBA identifying method (Knights/Elite Cav are based in wedge formation, Light in loose skirmish order). General in 1 of the units which works for DBA as well as Lion Rampant
First units and ranking
Similar to the other ancient factions, keep the colours simple but a unifying one. So we went with blue as the Imperial Romans I’ve got are blue shield with green tunics .. anything but red !
