The Silver Bayonet – Egypt Spring Clean

About the Project
I started painting up models for the Egypt expansion of The Silver Bayonet ages ago, but can't find a record of it amongst my projects. I never finished the project and wasn't fully happy with the progress I had made on some of the paint jobs. It seems like a good excuse to record the efforts as a Spring Clean Challenge.

Zombie Camel.
Years ago Zombie and Camel on the same internet search would have been a Googlewhack. But now it felt natural to inquire as to when, not if, we can expect to see a zombie camel in our war games. Northstar provided this metal monster and I am happier for it.
I used some watered down Blood for the Blood God paint where I went for the gore. Didn't think this zombie in the desert would be that wet and gooey. I think there's a mix of Morghast Bone, Zandri Dust for the base until I was happy, a dry brush of Wraithbone and some gore and highlights for the exposed bones.Follower of Old Gods

The start.
I picked up some 3D printed Knucklebones skellies before I even got the book, confident that if any skeletons in the game didn't actually have a ranged attack I would find a way to crowbar them into the game.
