Inspiration

I’ve long been a fan of Naval Wargaming and miniatures, this dates back to buying Airfix kits when on holiday as a kid. Since diving back into wargaming in the last 10 years I’ve repeatedly found myself attracted to, enjoying and collecting naval wargames of all kinds (including those in space).

For Salute 51 I was very fortunate (or unlucky) to end up volunteering to help Yarkshire Gamer and Leeds Wargames Club with their awesome Battle of Jutland wargame. While turning up to a show for the first time and then playing a game for the first time too was somewhat chaotic it was an absolute blast and great to put some faces to names. I’ve had an itch to have a go at WWI naval wargaming ever since!
