Kingdom Death, Sorted By Monster & Armour Type
Recommendations: 201
About the Project
My ever growing Kingdom Death collection, sorted by what armour type they are wearing, not by what box they came in or when I painted them. This is to help me and others work out what weapon and armour combos already exist so people can build their modular sprues with more confidence.

Red Witches, Pariah, and Black and Red Armour
The Pariah (pics 1 & 2 above) is a male White Speaker who has gone rogue and stolen a red cloak on his way out of town. The Red Witches have been sent to hunt him down. In the upcoming Inverted Mountain campaign we will have to fight the Pariah while we are all hanging on the ceiling. He is the first upside down model I have painted, but there will be more. He has magnets in his base, and he sticks to a metal sheet at the top on my display cabinet, allowing him to actually hang upside down. It also saves on shelf space!
The Red Witches (pics 3-5 above) are currently on my painting desk and should be finished this weekend. As far as I can tell, the Red Witches are the police force of the White Speaker Cult, and so share a lot of their paint scheme. They all get a shiny new red cloak though, which is the basis of the inventively named Black and Red armour set, which lets people teleport swap locations.
Pic 6 is the Red Witch Inititates, who are 1hp minion models the Red Witches can teleport swap with during the fight.
This post will be expanded as I get more painted. I’ve got 3 Red Witches, 5 acolytes, and 5 survivors to be built, painted, and added below, with who knows what yet to be released.

Crusader Armour
Two characters wearing Crusader Armour have been introduced in the Nukealope Vignette. There are no rules to gain this through the main game yet so we don’t know which unreleased monster lets you make it. I’ll come back and edit this whole post once I know more.
For anyone following along and just seeing this update: I’ve added a whole bunch of extra pics to most entries too, if you’re interested. Or just head over to my main project and check out the last few posts to see them all in one place.
Below, in order:
Ashbloom (Nukealope Vignette): Female with Spear
Ashroot (Nukealope Vignette): Male with Spear
Terrain
Terrain comes as card tiles in the box, but I’ve made some upgrades.
Here’s my notes on painting the ground/stone:
Base: P3 Trollblood Highlight (can also use Mission Models MMW-006 Transparent Dust, or 4:1 or 5:1 msp ghoul skin : AP Banshee Brown)
Light overbrush/heavy drybrush: GW Karak Stone
Heavy-Medium drybrush: GW Screaming Skull or P3 Jack Bone
Drybrush: P3 Menoth White Highlight
Finally, I took an old soft drybrush and rubbed lots of Vallejo Pigments 73.111 Green Earth in to everything, tapped off the excess, and then airbrush varnished everything immediately. (I tried a different pigment first on one tile and didn’t like it. For some reason it didn’t fade as much as the green I put over it)
The pigment is almost completely gone, but has some effect. I really need a way to make it stay as a powder/dust when I varnish. I’ve never quite got the hang of pigments.
Below, in order:
3d printed terrain from a freely available STL pack. I ran out of resin, but one day I’ll print more.
Dead body: Its the “Murder Victim” sculpt from the Gamblers Chest.
Statue, front and back. A failed 3d print on an odd base I had lying around.
Tall Grass. I made a full set of these. It’s a bit of an abstraction, as the whole tile should be tall grass, but then where do you put the models?
Acanthus herbs.
Others
Some models don’t belong in the game or the lore, and defy grouping in to categories. I’ll add them all here as I paint them.
Below, in order:
Nightmare Adam (Gamblers Chest)
Scifi Aya (Gamblers Chest)
Father and Son (Gamblers Chest)
Gourmet Hunter Anna & Milkshake (Gamblers Chest)
The Damsel (Lion Knight box)
The Fool (Lion Knight box)
The Ruler (Lion Knight box)
The Villain (Lion Knight box)
Great Game Hunters
They exist in the lore and in plastic, but not currently in game. I keep seeing sculpts I think are such characters.
Below, in order:
Romantic Adventurer (Gamblers Chest): Male with dagger and scythe
White Speakers
There’s a few White Speakers out there too. I’ve painted one, and have another on my table right now. I may have more on preorder.
Below, in order:
White Speaker (without staff): Female with Dagger
Pinups of Death 1 – White Speaker Kisya: Female with Dagger
Twilight Knights
For a model that has no in game purpose, there sure are a lot of Twilight Knight sculpts.
Below, in order:
Pinup Order Knight (White Box)
Neko Twilight Knight (Gamblers Chest)
Pinup Alison the Twilight Knight (Pinups of Death 1)
Twilight Knight (White Box? KS model? Mine was an ebay purchase)
The Black Knight And His Followers
The Black knight seems to come with his own new armour kits. I’ve not played the mini campaign yet so I don’t know anything about them. I’ll revisit this post and redo my filing once I know more.
Below, in order:
Caine
Count
Earl
Elle
Marchioness
Ola
