To create some line of sight blockers, I decided to make use of some banners.

The idea was  I would make them part of a “graveyard” and some impassable terrain.

I also planned to use some of the printed images I had previous used.

The banners were made from coffee stirrers, some string and then the material made from tissue paper soaked in PVA.

Once all the pieces had been painted, I used real soil for ground cover, made sandbags from modelling clay, and then added in posts & barb wire as well as some of the crosses.

Anything that was inserted into the base of the model had the ends shaved down to make a point to make it easier to penetrate the soil / polystyrene and helped to create a tight fit without ripping anything up.

The sandbags were first painted with desert yellow and then battledress brown to give a nice dirty look.

Once everything was in place, I added some soil onto the sandbags and fixed them into place to bed them into the environment.
