About the Project
I signed up to the GW painting challenge. Knowing that I have well over a hundred GW minis unpainted I thought it would be an easy enough task. Then I realised the expiry date set the bar higher than I expected. I have to do this by the 9th of May! That's almost a miniature a day from the date I made my pledge. Oops. I will give it the good old college try. 🤷 Wish me luck.

#21 Lord of PoxesMy pace has slowed up. Have had a head cold bob up and down in ferocity over a week now. It’s killing my energy and focus. Painting a Nurgle figure seemed appropriate.

The lightening effort on the sword could have been better, but that's something sacrificed to get the model painted ASAP.
Would have been a silly one to take on given the deadline, but already built and primed and scheme already decided to meet my other Dark Angels this was a manageable undertaking.
Was a real bargain from the front of the launch copy of the Combat Patrol Magazine. The Tyranids from the early cheaper teaser copies of the magazine have already been painted up on another project.Primaris update

#13 Boltgun BobRotten head cold is slowing me up but I did some building of more Votan KillTeam and lovely Deathguard model.
But I did find some minis I bought already built and primed ages ago off eBay.
They are regular space marines, but they are meant to be the fun pose ones that came in the blind buy packs from overseas? I have 6 of them.
I am happy with the scheme I came up with as an alternative subchapter look.

#10 Ratspike (AKA Lucky?)Ratspike (#10) seems such a crappy name. Should’ve corrupted some Greek and have an ironic laugh at the horrendous scars. Tycherus? (tycherós is “lucky” in Greek.) Lucky is “Felix” in Latin so that doesn’t work, as we know that’s a cat’s name.
And even the other dog as Grotbiter (#9). Boring. Should have called him something offbeat and odd like Melody. (Because he’s unchained.)

102 days to go. Still off the pace for an easy mission completion, but should complete two small minis tonight to get going. The integrated bases is also another shortcut compared to PVA and grasses step etc.
