Winter Red Army so far...

Well the ‘small’ Fall of the Reich Red Army project has got a little out of hand, and expanded far past where I had planned…

It was to be a one platoon little force with some support, but its grown, so time for a rethink.

As its now two full platoons, time to expand on that and make it up into a fully fledged large force!

As the bulk is done, Im gonna add some fun bits now. Next up, and already underway, will be a Recce Infantry Foot Patrol to go with my large amount of sniper teams (actually have another one not in that pic to field four!). Im going to use the new AB Snowsuit figures for those to set them apart as a distinct recce option.

More platoon support, another MMG and the like, will be waiting the next release from AB in the winter range, along with likely more officer/comms types and some winterised gun crews to add some fire support.

Additionally, I have two chaps with flamethrowers in greatcoats already painted, so a cheeky order to Elhiem for some lads in body armour to make up a Combat Engineers Squad.

So well on the way for this lot to being done… plus loads of vehicles already finished. Might be time for the SU100s to get a spray!
