Glass Cannon Announce Diablo: The Roleplaying Game

Glass Cannon Unplugged announced that they are going to be coming to Kickstarter with their new role-playing game, diving deep into the Dark Fantasy world of Diablo.
Diablo: The Roleplaying Game // Glass Cannon Unplugged
Diablo: The Roleplaying Game is based on the hit video game, where you take on the role of heroes hacking and slashing their way through the world of Sanctuary, battling demons and all manner of terrifying foes in blood-soaked battles.
Barbarian Miniature // Diablo
In the role-playing game, you'll take on the role of one of these heroes who has been powered up to be a seasoned veteran from the start. There's no working your way up from being a noob here; you're starting as a hero that can dive into the epic action of Diablo from session zero.
This then flows into the cinematic action of Diablo, driven by a custom d6 dice system which puts the brutality of tactical combat at the heart of your endeavours. However, you'll also have to face moral conflicts throughout your adventures with the use of a push-your-luck mechanic that is "after your very soul".
Necromancer Miniature // Diablo
You'll be able to take on the role of some iconic classes from the Diablo games, like the Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue and Sorcerer. You'll then be plunging into dungeons, pilfering legendary gear, dragging forth sacks of gold and fighting for glory.
Rogue Miniature // Diablo
The campaign that Glass Cannon Unplugged are working on will feature a Core Rulebook featuring 300 pages of rules, lore and loads of art. There will also be an anthology of one-shot adventures curated by Joe LeFavi and writers like...
"Cullen Bunn (Horrow County), John Harper (Blades in the Dark), Graham McNeill (Warhammer), Micky Neilson (Diablo), Francesco Nepitello & Umberto Pignatelli (Lord of the Rings), MJ Newman (Arkham Horror), Grégory Thomazo (Shadows of Esteren), Shawn Tomkin & Matt Click (Ironsworn), and more."
As well as the rules and the adventures, you'll also be able to get some premium miniatures like the ones you see here. You can use these to represent your characters on the tabletop or simply as a new painting project for you to sink your teeth into.
Sorcerer Miniature // Diablo
There will also be maps, art prints and more that can be used to celebrate your descent into the world of Sanctuary and the bloody, brutal action of Diablo. I would like to see a Quickstart for this before diving into the campaign, as I do enjoy the world of Diablo and I am intrigued to see what the system is like driving all of this.
Could you be tempted to dive into Diablo: The Roleplaying Game?

I loved the first two Diablo games. I may pick this up just for the artwork and lore entries.
I think before 3e launched, wotc released a d&d variant and I madly bought it. Never used it.
But can we die horribly to a randomly generated blue monster with lightning enchant?
