John and Warren have a good long chat about the British Late War Air Landing Heavy Anti-Tank Platoon from Flames of war.
Warren, if you want to see how successful a Glider Landing could be during World War 2, read up about Pegasus Bridge. British Airborne landed at a bridge controlled by Germans and successfully captured it – First Allied controlled objective on D-Day. Also, there are some aerial photos on the net so you can see how close the Gliders landed to the bridge without the Germans noticing.
Back to topic, this set – Like most of the Battlefront stuff – looks supurb. Nice details and also easy to assemble. Great review guys. History, comedy, review… Good job. This is definately one of the best wargaming review sites on the net.
