Now we're having a look at the design of the Haqqislam faction of Infinity, with yet more amazing art work that unfortunately didn't make it into the book (but we get to bring it to you guys anyway!). What does it take to become a member of Saladin's great army in Infinity?

The only problem I have with these videos is that they’re making me want ALL the CB armies, now. The lot of them. I can hear my credit card vibrating from here!!

Haqqislam manages to have some of the most gorgeous sculpts of the entire game. Just look at the Asawira, Saladin or the Hassassin Lasiq.
And they have Chun Li. ^^
I would like to enter to win and finally see what all the hubbub is about.
Totally biased but Haqq have the best mini’s. Concepts look great and so do the minatures. I would argue that it’s not the Al Hawwa mask, but the style of it that puts me off alittle. Concept is cool, but how it is painted officially on the mini makes the poor girl look like she has a fu man chu mostache. Seeing the coloured version of the concept art gives me some ideas how to paint this much used miniature.

I Love the AK-47 look alike guns. Don’t like the whole assassins stuff.
Do you mean you don’t like the miniatures or the concept? I think the idea of a shadowy spy-master figure (the ‘old man in the mountain’) who knows everything, even what the aliens are doing, and then sends the most skillful assassins imaginable to take out people who are a negative force really cool..

But really, Haqqislam is a really interesting faction. Infinity actually goes into some depth with what happens to organized religion in the future, which for most sci fi is a commonly ignored concept. The Hassassin is also a really cool anachronism with a sci fi flavor and gorgeous models. Probably going to make them my second army.
More incredible miniatures. I have a feeling that I’ll be adding more Haqqislam miniatures to my collection in the future and make them my 4th faction. Although I at least have a headstart on parts of a QK army with my mercenaries and Nomads.

I love Haqqislam for the same reason I love Ariadna – they have a similar low tech look, but with Haqqislam looking the more advanced of the two. And I hope we see a boxed set of the Sekban’s at some point because I loved the mini they already released. I use him as a character in one of my roleplaying games.

Ariadna and Haqqislam are factions with models that I like least and still I like most of them. CB is doing great job and great models.

Haqqislam have some nice figures but I have not seen too many people play this army.
Hearing about an Islam that has returned to a focus on intellectualism and peace is lovely.

I can almost hear the hassassin calling me, asking me to buy them.
Why do you make such nice Sekbans and then overcost them CB, why? Oh well, at least there’s the HRL.
They’re not too bad.. I think for most casual players they are fine, and even for veterans they can be used well (and like Carlos said in the video, the Haris fireteam is also a bonus)
Haqq designs are great, so flowing and pretty, but their earth tones don’t really do it for me.Bet it makes em a b#$*& to fight on desert terrain, though.

I didn’t know much about the fluff of Haqqislam but something about the style indicated to me things like that they have socialize healthcare. Unlike the PanOceania, that has streaks of arrogance in their style, Haqqislam feels like the true noble warrior (IMO).
Nice. I want to try some infinity soon.

After Aleph, I think I might have to start a Hassassin force. Their fluff is really cool, with references to the novel Alamut (and probably the historical events that novel is based on).
Haqqislam remains my favourite, but almost all mini’s coming out amaze me 😀

Haqqislami’s!
Honestly the best model range in the game. Nothing really jumps out and says yeah I’m worth using in the game but can you really bear the thought of painting me? Unlike some of the other models in the other factions. Haqqislam has always had the best sculpts. The back ground is brilliant and the Vanilla, QK and Hassassins all play soooo differently but yet combine together so well.
Best faction in the game! Especially for new players.

I like how thieve used very different ideas to design the factions than the usual ones eg neobrits Prussians Japanese etc

Haqqislam has some good designs, ranging from their ghulam infantry to the Hassassins.
The combination of great fluff backstory and wonderfully designed sculpts makes this faction high on my list.

The barid is the best back-hacker haqquislam has right now. If you dont need a forward hacker (al-hawwa or tuareg in that case) this is the best you can buy.

Rules wise, probably the Beasts of War ‘quick start guide’ at the top of this page. Just gives the basics of the rules to let you discover the mechanics of it, then you can download the full official rules from the Infinity website. It’s all free.
Miniatures wise I would recommend any of the ‘starter sets’, perhaps then with a blister pack or two. There aren’t really any ‘stinker’ miniatures with great models but bad rules; you can buy something that you like the look of, and there will be no reason you can’t be successful with it in the game.
The old Man of the Mountain has certified me I’d win something by the end of this week. 😛

Really like the armour and tech stylings of this lot. The poses are all very tactical and dramatic, they dont mess about! 🙂
Haqqislam is another of those factions I would love to have a wee play with – but then that would make my Yu Jing and Ariana forces jealous. …and we can’t be having that now! 😀

CB’s Models just keep getting better and better. Also unlike other companies their minisare actually as detailed and are completely accurate to their designs.

It may be just me but as much as I enjoy the discussion they are having and the beautiful terrain in front of them it would be really nice to have real prints or at least a screen and a couple of minifigs for them to play with during the video. (Perhaps even give out the painted figures hmhmmm…?)

Infinity, one of the best table top games ever invented. I’m a big GW gamer, hell I’ve been one since the Rogue days and I have seen nothing like this, from game system, figures, customer service, etc.
This company is just incredible, they put new figures monthly (Nobody does that) yes they have missed a couple of months but they stay strong.

The depth of Haqq both in in mechanical effects (tricks) and the nuanced way their fluff is dealt with make them such an appealing and wonderful faction. Truly a wonderful job.
The art is incredible, of course. One of the more realistic yet still impressive factions in appearance.
Just loving all the Infinity figures just wish my painting could do hem justice! Played these at a demo game at Salute and the sniper was awesome.
I like the design of the Haqqislam models very much because the are very dynamic and have very nice details. The fusion of the historical traditional aspects with SCi-Fi is very nice (e.g. the Tuareg, the Khawarijs, Saladin) The background is very cool, especially the Qapu Khalqi caravansary story.
