Kingdom Death has some of the best minis out there with a very unique story for each of them. Cant wait any longer for my Core game to arrive xD

Like many, I’m waiting for the arrival of that huge 17+ pound box in wave 1! Had some guys playing it at the LGS and had to walk away before I started drooling on their board 😉 The minis are awesome and gameplay is uniquely engaging.

Most backers on KS are totally cool with the slight delay to Wave 1 – the Core 1.5 KDM box. Amazed it’s as close to the original date as it is – and knowing it’s for extra packaging to prevent damage during shipping it’s a wait worth waiting!
With the amount of backers there’s no wonder there’s a bit of a delay!
i am so psyched about kdm… everything is looking gorgeous (except monsters which are hem monstruous). seriously though, it is the kind of game i have been waiting for ages, and it is now closing in… keep up the awesome work ^^

As soon as I saw the art for the Oblivion Mosquito I knew, I had to have this game.
Not long to go now, provided that there are no further delays, summer 2019 and she will be mine.
Still the core game could be delivered by October’s end (only 10 weeks away)
KD:M, I’d love to play this game. Almost backed the latest kickstarter. But in the end it was just too much money. And the fact that I have a problem not getting everything when I back a project sure didn’t help.
Last weekend I finally managed to assemble my Spidicules and just today I fought her for the first time, I just love spiders. 😀 KD:M is ‘the game’ it has everything I ever wanted in a miniatures/board game!
I love the fact that Adam received a view ‘dirty’ showdown boards and just decided that all showdown boards will be shrink wrapped, this kind of attention to detail is what makes this game so great and justifies the price! Also I contacted Adam twice and I was stunned that he answered me both times and got me what I needed even with the amount of work and stress he has.
Thank you Adam for this brilliant game and for taking the time to sort out the issues I had!
So looking forward to finally getting my hands on this game.

Beautifully disturbing is the best I can describe this as. Love the aesthetic or not it’s up to you, but you can’t criticise the quality of the product and miniatures, they are first class.

I can say many things of why KDM is a great game and a great product, but the most important one is Adam and the attention to detail he gives, it is an obvious a product of love, visionary, focused and uncompromising.
It is a great inspiration for many of us to see such a vision and passion getting realised.

I was lucky to be able to grab a Satan pledge, that pledge has a ton of stuff. The delay only proves how much Adam cares about the quality.
I’m looking forward to receiving the core box so I can start playing. I get very excited when looking at all the stuff that has been revealed on Gen Con. At this moment I’m looking at fan made material for the survival actions and looking at making some tokens for the actions.
The expansion I’m most looking forward to is the Super Survivors (yes, I also loved watching Dragonball Z, has been a while that I have seen it). I’m curious about the hard plastic showdown board. I hope that it also covers all the cardboard components from the expansions. Or that there will be an expansion to the hard plastic showdown board that will have the hard plastic versions for the expansions.
“Yeah… Illustrations… been working on that.” . But seriously don’t mind waiting a bit longer as long as the quality is there.
Even if you do not like the game, Adam seems to be an amazing guy. He also communicates with his backers very well.

That mosquito thingy has given me the heebie jeebies – I sat scratching my arms involuntarily after they mentioned it.
Everything looks amazing. Waiting anxiously for the kickstarter to ship. Like many I have never played KDM and yet backed it with all the old and new expansions.
This game is The most intense thing I have ever played… I was super disappointed when I had to drop my pledge on the second kickstarter, but I will be buying all of the expansions as they release into retail, to go with my existing KD stuff.
Everyone I have taken through the game has enjoyed it, and are always crushed when their favourite Survivor dies, even though I warn them not to get attached 😀
So I’m really keen to see official combined KD/ BoW art work as well!
And the Dragon Goblin… for the love of the Gods! I Will have that miniature!

I admit that I backed the original Kickstarter strictly for the cool toys. And after reading the rules, they seemed fine and interesting but I wouldn’t say they were anything that screamed “I’ve gotta play this now!” It was actually more than a year until I finally got a group together to play. We were just going to try out the first scenario… and 7 hours later we’d played the first 4 lantern years. Something about this game just keeps pulling you right in. It’s all in the growth of the characters and the colony. Really excited for the next batch of goodies.
I’m so glad that 5 more lantern years of play through are coming out.
Been dying to watch more of them.
Haven’t played it but, from everything we hear about it, it looks like my friends and I missed out! If i could exchange a few kickstarters i chose for this one, i would (thinking AVP as number one i never should’ve pledged… 🙁 ).

I am so looking forward to my copy of KD:M arriving! I have a small collections of kd minis already, and hands down they are the nicest models I have ever owned. The pieces fit together so well, and considering how many parts there can be that is no small feat! I am in teo minds about painting them, as they actually look really good as is! Don’t want a paaint job to distract from that! Also, pinup twilight night as a detective? What a great idea!

Love everything about KD:M, from the miniatures to the depth of the game. Great live blogs from BOW.
The more I see, the more grateful I am that I could manage a Satan Pledge. Even though it meant maintaining a Ramen, Tea and egg diet for two months…it will obviously be worth it. My friends are all waiting to play this gloriously magnificent monstrosity of a game and so am I. I’ve been collecting minis here and there and found out that it is quite fulfilling, putting these creations together. There really is no comparing Kingdom Death : Monster to any other board game. If you’re going to go for a personal luxury that will keep you busy for a long time and entertain your friends as well, make it this Kingdom Death: Monster.
Kingdom Death is the one that got away for me. One day I will own it. One day I will have it all. I think if I had it I wouldn’t touch any other game ever again…. It’s like it was designed for me in every way but the price 🙁

I love the whole dark atmosphere of this game.
This is the best game (Wargame/Boardgame) I have ever played. I was fortunate enough to back the original KS and came back to go all in on KD:M 1.5.
To say i’m excited for the eventual fulfilment is a massive understatement!

My wish / suggestion for Kingom Death – instead of the huge game strategy, like Monster, try now instead a smaller $ 50 “introduction” size game from this Universe. As much as I admire (and am intimidated by) Monster, I would never pay that kind of money for a Single game in one go. But in Young can Break it down into a starter Game, Core game, upgrades, expansions and so on… then people have the chance to spead out the costs over a few years.
No words can describe my excitement for our KS shipments to arrive! We went in thinking, “Hmm, looks cool, guess we’ll get the base and one or two things.” Nope. Not what happened. After watching hours upon HOURS of playthroughs, we got the fever. And the hunger…So much merch ordered…So pumped, so ready to punch countless things in the sack!
Seeing the Oblivion Mosquito makes me hope he reopens the Pledge Manager. I can probably throw another paycheck or two Adam’s way.
KD is one of my favorite boutique minis companies…I guess they are not so boutique anymore huh.
Can’t say I’m willing to take the leap to buy KD:M myself, but the minis are very enthralling and the game play seems very engaging.
I want to get my hands on this game so freaking badly. I hope i will get to play it one of these days.

I know it’s not ‘their thing’, but I’d love to see them do something less… mature/graphic/soul numbingly terrifying! It sounds like the system is great and they obviously put a lot of care into the minis. A slightly more accessible theme would be brilliant for my little group.
While I personally really like the mature/graphic/soul numbingly terrifying aspect of the theme, I have also wondered how a similar system might be employed with a different theme. Best I came up with so far was a scifi rendition, where instead of a settlement you had a ship, and instead of a hunt phase, maybe you’re going through the warp and running into weird things. And then you could have the showdown against a range of alien creatures, grab their tech, and upgrade your ship.
Easily my favorite game right now.
I can’t wait for this kickstarter to finally arrive, and this has stoked my fires even more! Those dice are cool, and that mini is bloody lovely!

So cool to see Kingdom Death Monster at the show. Can’t wait for the next Lantern Years from the guys at BeastsofWar and what happens. I must say that backing the kickstarter was the biggest single drain on my wallet this last year, but it is so going to be worth it since the game looks awesome. I don’t mind the slight delay to make the game the best it could be when it is released.

Adam always blows me away with his genuine kindness and humble behaviors. I truly think of him as an inspiration. This game is… everything to me. I’ve never connected so strongly with a form of entertainment and artwork. From the first moment I saw this game, something inside of me woke up and felt fulfilled. Adam has changed my life forever and created something that I will take with me for the rest of my life. I cannot wait for the 1.5 update this fall and I only hope that he continues to work on this beloved universe. I really hope that I can scrounge the time and money together to make it to Gen Con next year so that I can hopefully meet this genius artist and creator. Thank you for putting together this little interview. It made me very happy to see.

After two games… and I mean hunts I find the game is unwieldy for me. I love it, but 5000 cards (have some of the expansions) is a lot to deal with. Long story short I’d love an App for the cards.

My wife bought a copy for me for christmas a few years back. Such a great game! We’ve picked up regular minis since then as gifts and were pretty quick to jump onto the 1.5 update kickstarter. Still hoping the pledge manager get reopened each wave, but we’re happy enough just to grab what we’ve missed as it hits retail anyway :).

Wow, thats the first time i see Adam in life, in my mind i always thinked he is more like a tortured artist with some kind of sleeping problem, then reality punched me again.
