It was interesting and good to see a programme on this subject on telly. I’m not quite sure what to make of it, I know my father lifelong railway modeller would have hated it.

It was ok, and thanks to catchup my lil’n who is currently train mad could watch though too many people talking, not enough trains to keep him fully engaged (he’s only 3).

I had to snigger when the red team bloke criticised Dunkirk movie for using the wrong train type – proper rivet counting level of anorak there, but right is right.

I enjoyed the ch4 Battle of Britain series more, fitting infra red tech onto flying models looked amazing

It filled some time, but too much of it was the people and too little of it was the actual build (although that’s probably why it got commissioned)
