Free League Publishing are currently taking pre-orders for a classic campaign, revived for the new edition of the Dragonbane RPG. Path Of Glory was originally released for Drakar och Demoner back in 1985 and 1986 and the new volume brings all three stories together into one epic tome.

Here's some of the background on Path Of Glory...

"Coming to the legendary Dead Forest in search of treasure, glory and a solution to the ancient curse laying waste to the forest, the adventurers soon find themselves embroiled in an epic conflict reaching back to the very foundations of the world. The quest will take the adventurers through the depths of the forest, under the mountain, and into a strange new land where the fate of the world will be determined."

As mentioned above, the original trilogy was available in the 80s for the Swedish version of the game and now it is coming out in English for the first time. The Dead Forest, Gates Of Power and Heart Of Darkness have been reimagined and updated by the original author, Roger Undhagen, and are now available in one place.

This new version of the story is presented in full colour with new illustrations by David Brasgalla and a new cover by Johan Egerkrans. There is also big double-sided map which was painted by Francesca Baerald which I'm sure a lot of eager adventurers will be happy to see.

The old story has been reworked to match the new mechanics of Dragonbane whilst still retaining its classic feel. For someone who might have played back in the 80s, this could be a good chance to revisit the campaign with fresh characters! It's also great to see it pop up for those who missed out the first time.

If you pre-order now, you will get early access to the PDF of Path Of Glory which will be updated when the full release arrives in June. This does mean that you can start sinking your teeth into the adventure early or at least get your planning in!
