I’ve just posted the 2025 thread (chart)so I thought I should do a State of Play update for my 2024 pledges.  If it’s crossed out, I’ve done it

Gaming Pledges

• Finish Gloomhaven with friends (Started March 2018) (Currently 7 missions left, and perhaps new side missions?)
• Start new campaign game with friends: We’ve been trying to start RE2 for a while now, but life keeps getting in the way at the last minute.  We were supposed to play last weekend, but there was a car crash, a boiler died because of a wasp, and I got sick at the last second.  With Christmas upon us, we won’t get togther again until next year
• Any 3 of the following solo plays:
  Finish C3 of ATO
  Finish C4 of ATO Shipping delayed
  Finish C5 of ATO Shipping delayed
  Play KDM People of the Stars
  Play KDM People of the Sun I’ve delayed starting this as I’ve been expecting ATO “any day now” for 2-3 months.  I have this set up and ready to go this weekend
  Play KDM Gambler Campaign

Optional:

• Win White Gigalion Vignette
• Win Black Knight Campaign I think this uses systems from Gamblers Chest so I’m not starting it until I’ve played that campaign, and I want to play the campaigns in release order, so its people of the Sun next.
• Added: Killenium Butcher Vignette

Hobby Pledges

1. Paint at least as many models as I gain Ahead of target, but I’ve got one big box on it way, and I expect a small box or two from KDM before Christmas day, but I could be wrong about that.  I’ve painted ahead of the minimum I know is due to arrive so hopefully I’ll make it
2. If a faction/game starts the year 100% painted it should end the year 100% painted
3. Always get it painted before it gets to the table
4. Finish Gamblers Chest playable non-modular minis
5. Paint ATO Minis ahead of playing with them
6. Paint Black Knight playable non-modular minis

Optional

1. A bust for Spring Cleaning Challenge?  I wasn’t expecting to do this, but included it just in case.  I had other projects on the go with deadlines at the time.  Maybe next year
2. Aim for less that 20 unpainted Normal models, but, ignoring any end of year preorder deliveries (Miracles can happen!)  On target.  Currently 0, but my numbers might be off.  Things are due to arrive in the post soon though.

All in all, I’m happy.  My main delays are due to KS shipping and not really in my control.  I should go in to the new year on top of things, and having beaten the remaining achievable goals.

There’s still a month left for us all to make progress.  I hope it’s all going well enough for everyone.
