Grab New Battlefleets & More For TTCombat’s Dropfleet Commander
December 8, 2025 by brennon
TTCombat has added some new Battlefleets to their website for those seeking to dive into their Sci-Fi wargame, Dropfleet Commander. The Battlefleets now cover all factions for this game of orbital battles and will feature a mix of plastic and resin miniatures.
Resistance Battlefleet // Dropfleet Commander
First up, we start with the Resistance Battlefleet and a set that features pretty much everything that you'd need to bring a fleet to your games of Dropfleet Commander. All of the plastic ships in the set can be assembled in a variety of ways, which is very fitting for the Resistance. Inside the box, you'll find...
- 1 Grand Battleship / 2 Old Battleships
- 3 Cruisers
- 1 Destroyer
- 1 Monitor
- 1 Cutter
- 8 Frigates
- 2 Corvettes
- 2 Lighters
- Resistance Launch Assets
This set also features some new Launch Assets, which have been released by TTCombat alongside these new Battlefleet Sets. These are the resin elements of the set(s), taking the form of bombers, fighters and a torpedo that can be used to both protect your fleet and blast the enemy to smithereens.
The Bioficers, the newest faction for Dropfleet Commander, have access to a new Battlefleet as well.
Bioficer Battlefleet // Dropfleet Commander
This set comes with another bunch of plastic ships at the core of it, giving you another suite of options available for you to take over systems with impunity!
- 1 Battleship
- 4 Cruisers
- 1 Destroyer
- 1 Monitor
- 1 Cutter
- 8 Frigates
- 1 Corvette
- 2 Lighters
- 1 Supercell
- 8 Cells
- Bioficer Launch Assets
The look and the feel of the Bioficers is suitably dark and dangerous, fitting nicely into the world of Dropfleet Commander. They are essentially floating weapons, which seems apt for a faction with a focus on mechanical efficiency.
Two classic factions from Dropfleet Commander have also been introduced into the mix.
PHR Battlefleet // Dropfleet Commander
You could go with the PHR or the UCM if you prefer. The PHR continue to be brilliant-looking with its sleek shells hiding all of the mechanical gubbins underneath. They are still my pick if I were to dive into the game.
UCM Battlefleet // Dropfleet Commander
If you go down the route of the PHR, you'll get...
- 1 Battleship
- 4 Cruisers
- 2 Destroyers
- 1 Monitor
- 1 Cutter
- 8 Frigates
- 2 Corvettes
- 2 Lighters
- PHR Launch Assets
...and if you're looking to get into the UCM and their very Halo-esque ships, you will get
- 1 Battleship
- 4 Cruisers
- 2 Destroyers (can also be a Heavy Destroyer)
- 1 Monitor
- 2 Cutters
- 8 Frigates
- 2 Corvettes
- 2 Lighters
- UCM Launch Assets
So, plenty for you to sink your teeth into across four different factions within the world of Dropfleet Commander. As mentioned above, you can also get your hands on Launch Assets for all of the factions in Dropfleet Commander.
Shaltari Launch Assets // Dropfleet Commander
These look great and will no doubt end up getting snapped up by a lot of folks to add to their fleets. They look really nicely detailed and I love just how big that torpedo is! What do you make of the additional Launch Assets for Dropfleet Commander and those Battlefleets above?
Drop (hah) your thoughts below...

I’ve got the “old” first edition rules. For anyone that’s got the new rules, what do you think has changed? I’m a fan of the almost submarine style game where it’s all about signature and the more you do with a ship the easier it is for the enemy ships to spot you. If that aspect has changed I’ll probably stick with older rules (however this might cause issues with the newer fleets and/or ships. Or perhaps you feel the new rules are an overall improvement?
