Blood Angels commission
Shading and black backing
Used simple Army Painter Strong Tone (the middle brown one) to shade the Blood Angels, and then Vallejo Black to get other parts ready to highlight.
I’m going to use Pro Acryl for the first time on the red, Bold Pyrolle Red; the bottles come with a steel ball inside for shaking, they are nicely sized, and have dropper tops. Fingers crossed.
First use of Pro Acryl. On to wet palette, no thinning needed. Extremely dense pigment, unlike many reds (makes me want to try a yellow in their range…).
