Does anyone else have this issue of supermarket food simply having less than a couple of days.

Yepp. Sadly many fresh produce things from the supermarket go off quickly. We plan our meals accordingly. Fridays is grocery shopping for the week, for the next three days meals are made with the stuff that could go bad and after that it’s meals like “spaghetti with minced meat” and similar 😉
